Linked server creation to oracle server in SSMS.

Linked server creation to oracle server in SSMS.

1. Expand server objects->linked server->new

2. Give linked server name as oracle sevrer name.

3. Select other datasource

4. Give provider as oracle provider for oledb

5. Give product name as 'Oracle'


6. Give Datasource as oracle server name.

Upload TNS entry in the following path & save.Thats'it

file://sqlservername/c$/oracle/product/10.2.0/client_1/NETWORK/ADMIN/tnsnames.ora

7. Verify by running the below query

Select * from openquery(oraclelinkedservername,'select sysdate from dual')

Hope you will create linked server to Oracle.
